Very nice for the price : Winsome Wood Hall Table, Antique Walnut
While this is solid wood and the lines are as nice as in the photo, the fiinish is terrible. The color is a bright orange and the stain was applied poorly. The color is uneven and rough and unfinished-looking in parts. But that's not the worst part.. . .
I'm accustomed to putting together lots of big heavy pieces of furniture --unassisted. Nothing has ever given me such a hard time, from a kitchen table, patio furniture, 6 ft. bookshelves, and even an air hockey table . . . Until now! None of the holes line up in this table properly, and I broke a piece of hardware trying to make one piece fit. You can't even redrill your own holes, because this table's holes come pre-threaded with metal inserts.
Surely there are nicer tables for your money and aggravation.
